How can queues at airport security checks be shortened? How can cars be produced faster and more cheaply? How can the processes of a shipping warehouse be optimised so that goods can be outsourced, packed and sent to the customer faster without major investment and without harder work?
Students on the Master's degree programme in Industrial Engineering deal with these and many other typical questions relating to production and logistics.
From the ordering process and logistics flows to the delivery of products, students not only learn about the individual steps of the production process, but also how to plan and manage them competently. Two faculties (Faculty of Business Studies and Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics) contribute their expertise so that students are optimally prepared for management tasks in the production of goods and services.

4-semester degree programme: Bachelor's degree in Business Studies with at least 180 CP with a combination of specialisations according to the Admission Regulations, in Mechanical Engineering with 180 CP or in Engineering Management with a specialisation in Mechanical Engineering with 180 CP
