Diversität

Diversity encompasses the variety of all people and essentially refers to the six characteristics considered in the AGG:

• Age
• disability
• ethnic origin
• gender
• religion/belief
• sexual identity.

Diversity management as a method of human resources management aims to promote diversity among employees and to use it constructively and profitably. The "Diversity Charter" initiative stands for the voluntary commitment of companies and institutions to initiate and improve diversity management in Germany and to create an appreciative and prejudice-free working environment. FH Aachen signed the Diversity Charter in May 2022. It also has a Vice Rector for Diversity and Equal Opportunities.
