"I was immediately drawn to the Freshman Program because of its many advantages. As an international student who spoke at an intermediate level of German before coming to Germany, the program provided the language training and academic coursework I needed to succeed at a German university. The best advantages of the Freshman Program for me were, no blocked bank account requirement for the Freshman Year, and accommodation near the campus. These benefits made my transition to studying in Germany much smoother and less stressful. I felt like I was well-prepared for the demands of university-level courses, and I was able to excel in my classes."

"The fact that the entrance exam took place in my home country and that we received support in all aspects was a great advantage for me. I found the Freshman Program a great opportunity to develop further in social and international life and, of course, to prepare properly for the upcoming studies in Germany I was able to develop personally in many aspects of my life that year and had the opportunity to make many nice friends from other countries with different cultures with whom I am still in contact. I have personally had very positive experiences and would recommend this program to those who wish to experience an independent life in Germany."

Vivek

Technical and Key Account Support Engineer at KISTERS AG

"I have to thank the Freshman Program for being the stepstone for me to pursuit my further education in Germany. Often when one considers to study abroad, there are lots of things/challenges one should consider and be aware of before coming abroad but worry no more because all of these formalities will be taken care by the Freshman Program themselves... I will strongly recommend this program for anyone who is seriously considering to come abroad to Germany for their further studies."
