Would you like to study and gain professional experience at the same time? Then the dual study programme Business Law Praxis Plus is just right for you. You can gain practical experience by working alongside your studies in the field of business law, for example in a tax office, in an auditing company or in the legal department of a company. The programme starts in winter semester in October. It is possible to start working before the start of studies. In the course of the dual study programme, study and practical phases alternate. The study phase at FH Aachen is supplemented by at least one working day per week in the company. A full-time semester in the company expands the practice-oriented study programme concept. You will gain further practical experience by writing your Bachelor's thesis on a current topic in the company.

In terms of content, the programme does not differ from the classic business law programme. Legal issues play a significant role when you look at the daily work processes of a company . For example, contracts with customers or other companies have to be prepared and checked, negotiations with suppliers have to be conducted, outstanding claims in the form of money, goods or services have to be collected and rights in the case of defective deliveries have to be secured. These activities require both legal and business knowledge, which you will acquire in the dual study programme Business Law Praxis Plus. You will receive a classic basic business knowledge and become familiar with the various areas of business law.
