Institutes and workgroups
As part of the teaching in our biotechnology and chemistry degree programmes, we attach great importance to a high proportion of laboratory practicals.
The faculty has a large number of modern, well-equipped laboratories where the knowledge gained in lectures can be put into practice and deepened.
In addition to teaching as a core task, many working groups also deal with research projects, final theses or doctorates. Some working groups also offer services. In the Institutes, several working groups work together across departments and in an interdisciplinary manner.
