Change of University with Admission to Higher Subject-Specific Semester

For admission to studies in a higher subject-specific semester, a classification by the faculty is required, in addition to the online application.

Please have the form Einstufung in ein höheres Fachsemester ("Classification in a Higher Subject-Specific Semester") signed by the Examination Board of the respective faculty of FH Aachen and upload it during the online application.

Change of University with Admission to First Subject-Specific Semester

Would you like to transfer to a Bachelor's degree programme and did you get your university entrance qualification abroad?

If so, you must apply via uni-assist. uni assist checks whether your foreign certificates meet the comparability criteria of the ZaB Zentralstelle für ausländisches Bildungswesen (Central Office for Foreign Education) and whether you can be admitted to a degree programme in Germany.

For the winter semester 2023/24, the application documents for the first subject-specific semester must be submitted to uni-assist by 15 July 2023.

Change of University with Admission to Higher Subject-Specific Semester

If you want to change to a higher subject-specific semester, please have the form Einstufung in ein höheres Fachsemester ("Classification in a Higher Subject-Specific Semester") signed by the Examination Board of the respective faculty of FH Aachen and upload it during the online application via uni-assist.

For the winter semester 2023/24, the application documents for higher subject-specific semesters must be submitted to uni-assist by 31 July 2023.

Admission Restrictions for the Winter Semester 2023/24

For the winter semester 2023/24, the following degree programmes are admission restricted in higher semesters as well:

Bachelor's Degree Programmes

Master's Degree Programmes

If a degree programme also has admission restrictions in higher subject-specific semesters, it might not be possible for all applicants to be offered a place at university.

After the re-registration phase has been completed, the number of places still available is determined and these are then allocated to transfer students.
